HOW DID PRO-MED STAFFING START? Pro-Med was started to help a friend who was working as a traveling nurse. We felt that she deserved better service and better pay for the work that she did.

Pro-Med has been in business since August of 1999.

We place nurses in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington.

• We work for you, not the other way around.
• When you call Pro-Med, you are talking to the owners who have been with the company since its beginning. You won’t be talking to a different recruiter every six months.
• We live and work where you live and work. We know the hospitals and neighborhoods and commute times very well.
• We pay you every week.
• We post our rates in our advertising and on our web site and pay everyone equally.
• We do not profit when you work overtime: We pay more than time-and-a-half so that you take home the money that you deserve for your hard work.
• We are frugal. We don’t have big glass office buildings on the East Coast and we don’t print four-color brochures. We believe that you would rather have more money in your pocket than pay for these extravagances.
• The money that we contribute to your retirement account is yours, from day one. You don’t have to wait three or four or five years to be "vested."
